This power pack is designed for laptops. It has 16 steps of voltage for selection : 12.5V, 13V, 13.5V, 14V, 14.5V, 15.0V, 15.5V, 16.0V, 16.5V, 17.0V, 17.5V, 18.0V, 18.5V, 19,0V, 19.5V, 20.0V. The connector head has lock feature so it eliminates the chance of slipping off. Wow, that’s awesome!

When I received it, I found it much smaller and handy than I expected. The quality is very good which is much better than other compatible adapters in the market. The manufacturer carries 3 years warranty on the adapter. Normally, manufacturer carries 2 years only.

It claimed that it supports notebook and 2 different gadget at the same time such as iPad, iPhone, mobile, digital camera, shaver, camcorder, DVD player, Nintendo, PSP, and portable printer, etc. I have tried to charge my iPad, iPhone and Philips shaver and it works fine.

The only thing that does not impress me is that the voltage selector panel is too small. The voltage wording is sometimes difficult to view.

I ordered this charger because my Dell charger was out of order. My Dell laptop was 5 years old and the original charger was no longer available. I was worried that it could not compatible to my old Dell laptop but my worries were unfounded. This pack goes with extra tips and I am keeping all the tips so I can change it if I change my computer. (Posted on 3/24/11)
